Basics
Where do the numbers come from?
Every morning, around 5 AM Central (6 AM in summer), the site saves each player's lifetime Rematch stats from Steam. Everything else is worked out by comparing those saves.
Why am I missing, or stuck at 0?
Steam only shares your stats when your profile's Game details are set to Public. Only Steam (PC) players can be tracked. Hours show as hidden when Steam hides your playtime.
What counts as a night?
The evening before each morning save. You played if any stat besides playtime went up (playtime alone is just the game left open). A night needs a save on both sides: if one is missing, that night doesn't count for you.
What counts as a season?
Rematch's own seasons, added by hand as each one starts. A season's numbers count from the morning save on its first day through its last night, so This season reads 0 on day one.
Why is there no win rate?
Steam counts wins, but not matches played or losses, so there's nothing to divide by.
GUBs
How is GUB of the night picked?
Most goals + assists + saves that night. More wins breaks a tie, and anyone still level shares it.
How are GUB of the Month, Year and Season picked?
Average goals + assists + saves per night played, so playing fewer nights doesn't hold you back. You need 3 nights in the month (10 in the year, 5 in the season) to qualify; until someone does, there's no winner yet. Ties go to more wins per night, then share.
Awards
Who can win awards?
Awards are given on each Wednesday Night with 3 or more players. Ties share. Nobody wins with 0.
What is each award for?
Each Wednesday Night that counts:
- Golden Boot: Most goals on the night
- Golden Glove: Most saves on the night
- Playmaker: Most assists on the night
- Match Winner: Most wins on the night
- Brick Wall: Most saves per hour (1 hour or more played)
- Heater: Most ranked wins on the night
- Breakout: Biggest jump over their usual night (after 3 Wednesday Nights)
- Welcome Back: Back after 2+ Wednesday Nights away
- Ever Present: 4 Wednesday Nights in a row
Stats
What is goals per night?
Goals on the nights you played, divided by those nights. The club rank starts once you have played 3 nights, so one big night can't top it.
How do streaks and records work?
A play streak is evenings played in a row; a missed save breaks it. Wednesday Night attendance only looks at Wednesday Nights, so other nights neither count nor break it. Records are the best single nights and longest streaks, starting from the second night ever.
What do the leaderboard arrows mean?
How many places you moved in the all-time ranking since the night before.
When does GUB Wrapped open?
Each year's Wrapped opens Dec 1 and fills in until the year's last night.
